Editorial policy and corrections
What this publication is, who writes it, how articles are produced, and how errors are handled.
Authorship
Articles are published under the byline Tina, the editorial pen name of the Options Whale research desk. Tina is a publication identity, not a claim about a specific individual: the name does not imply an invented biography, photograph, credential or first-hand trading record.
Every article carries its source list, a source cutoff and, where option data is used, a separate quote timestamp. Those records are the accountability layer — they show what the article relied on and when the evidence was read.
Editorial process
Articles are prepared by the research desk using its research library, structured article template and source checks. Checks verify source links, required disclosures, internal destinations and structured fields; they are recorded as checks, not as independent fact-checking. Numerical claims must trace to a cited source or to an explicitly labelled illustrative calculation.
Evidence and dates
Each article carries a source cutoff and, where option data is used, a separate quote timestamp. A past event keeps its original cutoff and is labelled as past; its figures are not rewritten as current. When a figure is unavailable or fails a quality gate, the article says so rather than substituting an estimate.
The blog is editorial. The research pages own the current interactive evidence and may carry a fresher quote. Learn guides own the durable conceptual explanation.
Corrections
Report an error through the contact page. A material correction updates the article and its modified date; it does not reset the original publication date. Small typo fixes do not change the modified date or the sitemap entry.
Comments, sharing and newsletter
There are no comments at launch. Share buttons open reader-controlled composers; nothing is posted automatically. The blog does not enroll readers in email. Newsletter signup, where offered elsewhere on the site, is a separate explicit action.
Independence
Options Whale publishes research and educational material. Nothing in the blog is personalized investment advice, a recommendation to place an order, or a promise of a profitable outcome. Options involve substantial risk. See the full research disclaimer and methodology.
